World Population
World population is the number of humans living on the planet Earth. It has experienced continuous growth since the middle of the 14th century. The rate of growth peaked in the 1950s. Projections show a continued steady increase in population total at a lesser growth rate. The current state of the world’s population can to some extent be measured by demographic indicators including distribution, life expectation, structure and, growth, urbanization and, movement, plus the associated causes and effects of these indicators.
