About the Championship
Collins India is proud to announce the highly anticipated Season 7 of the Collins Spelling Bee, a national-level championship that celebrates the power of words and inspires young learners across India.
Since its launch in 2020, the championship has engaged thousands of students from schools across the country, helping them build vocabulary, confidence, and communication skills. This season promises an even more exciting competition, bringing together India’s brightest young spellers to compete, learn, and excel.

To participate, you must be an Indian national residing in India, currently studying in Classes 6–8 of a recognized school in India.
Practice Test
Get familiar with the online test platform before the Preliminary Round by attempting the practice test.
The same test link and interface will be used on the day of the Preliminary Round, giving you an opportunity to experience the test environment in advance.
Before you begin:
Attempt the practice test on the device you plan to use for the Preliminary Round.
Use a stable internet connection.
Familiarize yourself with the navigation and submission process.

All words for the competition will be taken from the Collins COBUILD Learner’s Illustrated Dictionary (3rd Edition) — the official study companion for this year’s Spelling Bee. Designed especially for learners, this richly illustrated dictionary builds vocabulary, strengthens spelling, and enhances word understanding.
